Well, I have been trying to wade my way through the U.S. Senate Comprehensive Immigration Bill S.2611....or as I have now come to see it: the U.S. Camara de Senadores' "Welcome To America" Bill!

What a CROCK! These clowns we call Senators have given this country to Mexico!! (Oh, and if you are curious, try and write your 'U.S. Senador' about any particular part of the bill...be ready for a huge-assed canned response...duh!)

Try this on for size (from the Bill itself):

"Sec. 131. Mandatory Detention for Aliens Apprehended at or Between Ports of Entry (a) … Beginning on October 1, 2007, an alien (other than a national of Mexico) who is attempting to illegally enter the United States..."

Does this mean a national of Mexico is NOT to be considered an illegal if he/she crosses into the U.S.?

This piece of legislation is a joke. With the amount of time these U.S. Senators discussed, debated, blustered about, beat their chests, posed for the press, lied to us about looking out for America's interests, you would have thought they would have come up with SOMETHING..ANYTHING.. useful for this country. Oh well, you get what you pay for. I never donate to a politician..and it seems I got what I paid for!!
